Buses

SelfDrivingReport.com is an advocate for the new technology of self-driving cars, buses and trucks.

Variously called SDVs, self-driving, driverless, or autonomous vehicles, the ability of a car, truck, bus or other vehicle to drive itself is a remarkable development. It promises a world of safer, easier, cheaper and less-polluting transportation.

The path to vehicle autonomy is not without roadblocks and possible delays and detours. Outdated motor regulations, programming glitches, hackers, and special-interest groups can all delay this new technology. What seems certain is that none of these forces can stop this new way of driving.

What’s new in SDVs? Are SDVs really going to appear on the roads?  What models are coming to market soon? Where in the world are they being used today? What are the regulatory issues? The moral issues?

SelfDrivingReport.com hopes to present the right questions, and some answers, on these and related topics. This site hopes to bring in some fresh insights from readers, industry experts, academics, and government officials for issues relevant to this exciting new world of autonomous transportation.
